Italy is a country that has been on my bucket list my whole life. I’m going through it from left to right in a big “V.” This First part has Piza, Florence and Rome. Every city just as amazing as the last but Rome… I have no words to describe it. Here is 109 photos from these 3 Italian cities. the first two days I was still getting over this virus So I took it easy in Florence but I saw a lot of it and no sickness will keep me from pizza and pasta. A lot of amazing statues in Florence, including the original David, which I will not post pictures of but here are a bunch of other sculptures.
When I got to Rome, I just wanted to get lost just like in every other city I’ve gone to so far. Good and bad thing is that the Vatican was free on the day that I decided to explore so the line was 5 times longer than the longest line at Disneyland. After that 2 hour wait, I got to see the Sistine Chapel. I know that everyone always talks about the painting in the middle of David and God touching fingers but to me “The Last Judgment” was just fucking incredible. After that took a cab to the Pantheon then walked to the Ruins of the Roman Square where they still leave roses on the site where Caesar was cremated. The colosseum and a bunch of other sites. Did you guys know that Caesar was the one who came up with our 12 month calendar.
Anyway, I’m feeling a lot better and I’m on my way to Venice and them Vienna for 4 more nights in Italy. Lucky me, I get to see the Venice Carnival.
