After Rome, on the way to Venice we stopped at one of the oldest cities in Italy, Orvieto. Really tiny city but worth the trip. In the small city their is an amazing church, and a really deep well that you’re able descend into still for a small price. I got a couple of photos in the well and I got deeper the cooler the well looked.
After that small stop, I made my way towards Venice. I got really lucky by coming around this time because I got to experience a little of The Venice Carnival. It’s an event that happens in Venice 2 weeks out of every year. I had no idea, i would catch it. Lucky me is that I didn’t come on a weekend so I didn’t get to experience the full madness of the carnival. Instead it was really calm but still ran into a couple people in costumes. Venice is small. It has no cars and you can run through the city and over the canals from one end to the other in about an hour. So much history in a city that is pretty much sinking.
