Leaving Lucerne was bitter sweet but it was time to move on. We left early in the morning to head to Lyon, which is known for their food. Before heading back into France tho, I did get a chance to stop in Geneva for little, but didn’t get any pictures of the UN. I only had one night in Lyon, but it was a Sunday so a lot of the businesses were closed, lucky for me most of the restaurants were not. I got to go up to see La Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière, which is on a hill that over looks the city. I started at the basilica then made my way into the old part of the city. I really just walked around the cobble stoned streets for about 3 hours before finally making a choice on what I wanted to eat, then went into a pub to have a beer.
So far Lyon is the first city that I have not gotten drunk at on this trip but it was a holy day.
Next stop, Barcelona!
