This is it. The Last Tianna Tuesday.
After almost 3 years of working with each other T and I are finally ready for what’s next. When I met her she was at just over 300k followers and had grown fast after shooting with Van Styles and a couple other photographers. I was working in the fashion industry, doing acquisition marketing and shooting as often as I could. Soon after we met we figured out that we lived down the street from each other and that led to a friendship, which led us to shooting all the time and me helping her with everything from her site to marketing herself as a brand and other business stuff. We both grew and got better. It was inevitable, always having that urge to create and having each other to execute. She has been someone that I have created some of my best work with, and had fun doing it.
This was our last look that we shot back at the end of August. It is my favorite shoot because Tianna let me get two last concepts out and let me do them with her full trust. We shot all the promo photos, I would shoot all her outfit photos, and finally I had a chance to prove myself to really take it into my hands to create something dope. The 2 sets that I’m talking about are; Set #95, which I styled myself and lit a specific way to get that look; and this set which was a light set up that I really wanted to try. It was a perfect shoot because everything went exactly the way it was suppose to. I will put up a “before and after” on my social for this set soon because the adjustment to the lighting even amazed me. Especially since T hates studio photoshoots.”
This is it. At the end of this shoot I don’t think neither Tianna and I wanted to say bye to each other but we both knew that it was the last shoot. I still believe she is one of the best out there and could reach peaks that she can’t even imagine yet. Now that she has a new team and has other people handling her site and everything else I’m excited to see how grows and where she goes. Tianna is irreplaceable and I don’t think I would ever have the same relationship with any other model. She really was my best friend. We spent a lot of time hanging out and working together. We got to a point where we were 100% comfortable around each other and maybe it was because of that that allowed us to work so well with each other. The truth is, we wouldn’t be where we are without each other.
Maybe one day a magazine or something will bring us back together one day and pay us to shoot, just like the old days.
